Theme: Hindu festivals between January and May.
  1. #DharmaQuiz 1706: Between Chandramana Ugadi (or Gudi Padwa), and Rama's birthday, usually how many days are there?. Ans: Seven.
  2. #DharmaQuiz 1707: How many calendar days there usually between Holi and Sheetla Ashtami? Ans: Seven.
  3. #DharmaQuiz 1708: In 2014, how many days were there between Maha Shivaratri and Holi? Ans: 16 days.
  4. #DharmaQuiz 1709: Ganesha Chaturthi & Holi occur on different Gregorian calendar days each year. But Sankranti occurs on the same date. Why? Ans: Most Hindu festivals are based on masa, paksha and tithi which change based on lunar or solar calendar. But Makara Sankranti is based on sun's movement. When Sun enters into the zodiac sign of Makara on its celestial path, Sankranti is celebrated, which almost always happens on January 14th.
